Course Overview

The 2017 Bowral Classic features ride distances for everyone – the 45km Social Classic, 120km Challenge Classic and 160 Maxi Classic.

Are you after a leisurely weekend exploring the Southern Highlands by bike? Or looking for the ultimate two-wheel challenge, one that will be the training focus and cycling highlight of 2017?

Come prepared. During the ride around the beautiful Southern Highlands riders will face rolling hills, short steep climbs, beautiful descents, long flat sections and to finish off, a leg-burning trip around Kangaloon.

Classic

For 2017 riders will be timed for this 120km loop! Just because it misses out on the 40km Kangaloon Loop does not mean that this is going to be easy. During the course, riders will climb over 1,300m of ascent – it’s not called the Southern Highlands for nothing!

Classic – SOLD OUT

Sample the Southern Highlands. This is one way to earn your cake, wine and lunch! Pump up your tyres and get ready for an adventure. See you at the start line before you head off to Sample the Highlands. Note there is a shortcut which shortens the ride to be 35km – if riders take this shortcut they will miss out on the wineries.
